foresee, son.

I am defintely no illustrator, but I am sure that the message behind this picture/symbols requires no explenation. we all know what these lines represent altogether.

is it the power of a symbol or the death of creativity in the age when everything has already been coded?

jpn.

The other day I was reading a Lonely Planet article about the
best free attractions in the world
and my trip to Japan came back to mind. I was there at the end of march last year and it has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. The culture, the people and ... the cherry blossoms!

We were lucky enough to plan our trip during the sakura (aka cherry blossom season). It only lasts a couple of weeks per year and strongly depends on the weather of that particular spring.
We really wanted to be there for the sakura, the festivals at the temples, the picnics under a curtain of pink flowers, but definitely just took a blind guess when we booked our tickets. A couple of months later, once in Japan, we found out that we were the luckiest travellers at that instant, since we got to experience the sakura in full bloom.
Well this is what I LOVE about travelling and what fuels my wonderlust: as much as you can plan a trip, you will never know what you'll be able to experience, where your journey is going to take you and most of all that the most amazing thing you can experience and will never forget can be totally free!
